STONY BROOK, NY – Billy Joel spoke at his LI Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame exhibit on November 21st, ahead of its public opening.
The exhibit is filled with over 50 years of rare memorabilia, videos, awards, recordings, instruments, and photos, many donated from Billy Joel’s personal collection.

Broadway in Bryant Park Takes Its Final Bow for the 2024 Season
NEW YORK CITY, NY - The much-anticipated Broadway in Bryant Park series finished its 2024 season on August 1 with amazing performances. Organized by 106.7 LITE FM and iHeartRadio Broadway, this free lunchtime concert series is a summer favorite in New York City, letting people enjoy Broadway's best shows in the open air. Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Make a Grand Return After 10 Years
NEW YORK CITY, NY - The Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Show lit up the skies over New York City. Known as the biggest Independence Day celebration in the country, it attracted millions of people both in-person and through live broadcasts. This year's fireworks were launched from several barges on the Hudson River for the first time in 10 years. The main launch area was from West 14th Street to West 34th Street in Manhattan. This setup allowed great views from different parts of New York City, and parts of New Jersey. I watched the fireworks from Hudson Yards, near The Vessel. 2024 NYC Pride Parade Celebrates 40 Years
NEW YORK CITY, NY - On June 30th, 2024, New York City celebrated its 40th annual Pride Parade with a colorful and joyful event. The parade started at 12:00 PM at the corner of 25th Street and 5th Avenue. It moved through the heart of Manhattan, with a sea of rainbow flags and excited people. Millions of people lined the streets to join the fun, showing the strong spirit of the LGBTQ+ community. Seven special grand marshals led the 2024 NYC Pride Parade: Baddie Brooks, DaShawn Usher, Eshe Ukwell, Michelle Visage, Miss Major, Robin Drake, and Raquel Willis. TV REVIEW 📺: The Live-Action ‘One Piece’ is real
https://youtu.be/Ades3pQbeh8 Netflix released the first season of its live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga and anime, One Piece, right before Labor Day Weekend. As some will know, live-action adaptions of animated series don’t often go well, most notably Avatar: The Last Airbender, Dragon Ball: Evolution, and most recently, Netflix’s own 2021 Cowboy Beebop. However, I’m glad to say that Netflix has broken the live-action curse and completely outdone itself. Thanks to the absolute love, devotion, and attention to detail the production team has put into it, One Piece is one of, if not the best, live-action adaptation of an animated series or manga.
